Guided meditation, silent meditation, half-day retreats, and evening prayers
1/2 Day Retreats:
Once a month we offer a 1/2 day meditation followed by a light meal. These retreats go from 8am-12pm and consist of walking and sitting meditation with two guided meditations and the rest in silence. Limited space which fills up quickly. Please check the red schedule button up top for the upcoming dates.
Morning meditation is a 45 min. silent unguided meditation.
Afternoon meditations are a 30 min. guided meditation.
Evening Sits: A 10 min. silent meditation followed by verbal prayers and aarti offering (a light offering) with an optional sit of any length following that.
Please note after the aarti offering we observe silence until the morning. So please enjoy the silence and feel free to sit in the temple as long as you'd like or walk outside and enjoy the night sky.
A flash light or head lamp is helpful for the evening sits as we have lights out at the end of the sit and it ends in total darkness.
Please also note that the use of the house ends 20 mins after the aarti lamp goes out.

A simple meal of Indian Kitcheri and a discussion of varying topics around meditation, Buddhism and yogic philosophy with Will Duncan and guest teachers.
A casual movie night. Bring popcorn or snacks and a chair or pillow.
Casual work parties, a variety of tasks for all levels of engagement come and go as you like and enjoy a little time with old and new friends and hands in the dirt.
